“La ocupación. Carta blanca a Cabello/Carceller” is an exhibition that has its main singularity in the ambivalence of its format. The project is halfway between the retrospective exhibition and the specific work, as it brings together a good number of pieces made by Cabello/Carceller since the nineties and a large set of works selected by them themselves through which they weave a kind of genealogy.  The list of artists is broad: it comes from historical figures such as Maruja Mallo or Remedios Varo, both belonging to the Contemporary Art Collection Association, to reach young positions of our time through essential creators of the sixties and seventies, such as Esther Ferrer , Elena Asins, Eulàlia Grau or Angels Ribé, and the exhibition will have funds from the country’s main institutions such as the Museo Nacional del Prado, MNCARS, MACBA, Artium, Guggenheim and Fundación Banco Santander.
