El Premio ARCO Comunidad de Madrid was created in 2004 to recognize the best plastic arts work made by artists under 40 years old and exhibited in the corresponding edition of the ARCO Fair. These works become part of the Collection of the Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo (CA2M) in Móstoles, whose funds are also increased with the awarding of other competitions associated with art fairs, as well as acquisitions.
